Deceptive Methods Of Some Home Based Businesses EXPOSED

Why is this important now? With the economy in the toilet, people are primed for exploitation. Let’s raise a few caution flags and share them with everyone. It has been said that the network marketing industry will spin out the bad apples and most companies will not tolerate shady representatives. BUT in the mean time, some will get away with exploiting the fears and dreams of those who are desperately seeking a financial solution. That is where the damage is done.

Right now in Florida there is a group of people traveling around in a party bus holding meetings and signing up a lot of people. They then move on and leave a lot of people to fend for themselves. This is what motivated this blog post.

What should you watch out for?

1. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Yes, with most sales events there is hype but you have to be wise enough to separate the hype from the facts. Do the research necessary to make an informed decision.

2. Glitz and Glamor can be deceptive. Never join a company with the expectations that you will be living their lifestyle in the next few months or years NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY. It takes time to learn how to develop a business. It is never as simple as bringing people to a meeting and letting them do the work for you.

3. Beware of the large crowd mentality. Know the psychology of large groups. This is a tool that if used properly can influence you to make an uninformed or hasty decision. Most large opportunity meetings are carefully scripted. It usually looks like this. Everybody is dressed in business attire. The meeting starts with a video presentation of the company and its credibility. Next they explain the compensation plan. After that, they may have a few pre selected testimonials. This is the result; if it is good enough for all of these people it will be good enough for me. WRONG!

4. Watch their Body Language and if it doesn’t feel right, take a closer look.

5. The person who introduced you to the business may not be any more skilled than you are. So you should be able to identify someone who can give you the time and training you need. This is where most people fall short. Some of the best training comes from outside of the company.
