The Complete MLM Twitter Tutorial for Network Marketing and Home Based Businesses Overview

Twitter is the emerging force for network marketing and social marketing. Recently there was an article about how Dell made over 1 million dollars through their marketing on Twitter. It is not an internet technology to be ignored. The challenge is to figure out how to use it effectively to market products, services or opportunities.

It is possible to show what you are Tweeting on Twitter, Facebook, Squidoo, website and blogs. Here is an example from my Twitter page.

To begin -

Open another browser page by going to File and clicking New Window. Resize the 2 open windows so you can see them side by side with the same web address showing. Then click Twitter . After you do this you will be able to follow along through the process.

Click on the Join the Conversation button.

The next step in your MLM Twitter Tutorial is to fill in the different Fields for Full Name, Username will be the name displayed on your Twitter page. I prefer my own name. If you use a product name or some other name, you will not be building a brand of one. You want to build name recognition like Dell or JCPenny.

Next – fill in your password and Email then type in the words you see in the box. If you can not read them clearly, click Get two new words.

Next – Click Create my account button.

Here is an explanation of what you will see on your page. I will use my Twitter page to demonstrate.

This is my Twitter page.

These are the features you have on your Home page:

- 140 characters to share with your followers

- You can send and receive Direct Messages

- You have a list of people that you are following and what they have Tweeted

- You can also change the background graphics to personalize your page

- I suggest including URLs that will give your followers the opportunity to learn more about you.

To personalize your page: Click the Settings button on the top right of your page.

Communicating with only 140 characters to promote yourself and your products can be a challenge. MLM Google Tips can help you learn how to deliver small messages that get big results. If you apply small ad marketing knowledge to Twitter, you will be light years ahead of everyone else.

On this MLM Twitter tutorial page, fill in the general information. Name, username, email (this is so you can receive Direct Messages to your email account). In the More info URL section, include the URL to a website, blog, Squidoo page etc. I recommend not sending them directly to a sales page. People want to do business with people not an impersonal company who doesn’t know them.

Next fill in the One Line Bio Box. You have 160 characters to share info about who you are, what you do or what you offer. It is recommended that you use Word to type your text then Copy and paste into the box.

Location - you can fill this in or leave it blank. You might be amazed by the response if you do fill it in. Some people want to do business with people that are local.

Language – This is the language you want displayed on your Twitter page.

Last – Click Save
