As a result they are able to collect more donations. With the IPhone and Droid Phones kids have instant access to the internet from anywhere at any time.

    <description>There are many questions coming into us about how to generate network marketing leads or where to find leads. It is so true that it does not take long to exhaust your leads list and when this happens people turn to the internet to find help. When you search Google or Bing, there are so many choices and so much hype to wade through that it will make your head spin.

There are a few choices to consider that are being taught by network marketing companies:
&lt;br&gt;
1. Flip through the yellow pages and start cold calling.
&lt;br&gt;
2. Start cold calling people every where.
&lt;br&gt;
3. The Do Me A Favor and show up for my meeting model.
&lt;br&gt;

In all of these models and more that have not been mentioned you are being asked to do what is not in your nature to do.

You might consider paying for leads, but in most cases you are no better off because people that are on email lists are being contacted by a ton of people already and do not want another phone solicitation call.

Many internet lead generating sites have so much information that you need to learn that it could take you a year or two just to see leads start signing up.

The underlying question is, How do you get people to come to you? These are leads that you do not have to buy or harass. They are interested in what you have to offer and want more information.

Every year, people struggle trying to find the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one, relative, spouse or child. They brave crowded malls. Travel in terrible weather conditions. They wear their fingers to the bone shopping online. All to find the perfect gift that will be remembered for years to come. Many times they look for the latest Tech toy like an 1000Gig Ipod, a G4 Phone that can manage your life etc

&lt;b&gt;When thinking about what to give someone special, you do not want a cookie cutter gift like a gift card or fruit cake. No, no, no that will not do.&lt;/b&gt;

You think about the person, her likes and dislikes, her dreams, her hobbies. You think about the things she does every day. You listen carefully to clues that may come up over the year. And when the time comes you purchase the gift, wrap the gift and include a hand written card.

The night before Christmas, you make sure that all of the animals are outside. Heaven forbid that they are left in and rip apart your gifts. You pray that the kids do not wake up sick again this year. You also pray your loud and obnoxious Auntwell you know what I mean.

When Christmas comes you can hardly wait to see her reaction when she opens her gift. I will bet you leave her gift until the very end for maximum effect. Timing is so important in your idea of the perfect gift.

She finally opens the gift, to slow for your liking. If you did your homework right, you may see a twinkle and a tear gleaming from the corner of her eye.
 
 
&lt;b&gt;With just one look you connect and a thousand page message of your love is understood in a second.&lt;/b&gt;

You know you did it right because your focus was on her needs, wants and desires.

A wise man once told me, &lt;b&gt;Its not about you!&lt;/b&gt; and I think Santa would agree.

The true gift of Christmas is Love both given and received. It is a message that has not changed for over 2000 years.

    <description>&lt;b&gt;Happy Halloween&lt;/b&gt;. Here is a spooky story for the occasion.

It is amazing to see the transformation of personalities in network marketing. It is not far from the transformation in the Robert Lewis Stevenson story &lt;b&gt;Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde&lt;/b&gt;. The once calm, cool and collected person is turned into a powerful money making machine without a thought for the wants and desires of others.

The troubling fact behind the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde story is that we all have desires that if left unchecked could cause our downfall and possibly turn us into a network marketing monster. People run in fear when the monster enters the room knowing their end is near and they will soon be drained of life. 

&lt;b&gt;We know that is not our hearts desire but are caught in the conflict of who we are and who we want to be.&lt;/b&gt;

There is Hope. There is a way to keep the monster in check.

&lt;b&gt;First&lt;/b&gt;, we must know who we are and not try to be what we are not. We are all created with our own unique DNA. This includes how we solve problems. We are not all type A personalities. Thank God! In fact only about 8 of the population is a type A personality.

&lt;b&gt;Secondly&lt;/b&gt;, know your passions. What drives you? What do you dream about at night? What makes you hop out of bed in the morning? Many of us have had these passions clouded by our environment of friends, family and coworkers. If that is the case with you, begin writing about your life and look for patterns that keep emerging. This could take awhile but don&#39;t give up. Maybe start a blog and share with others.

&lt;b&gt;Lastly&lt;/b&gt;, Be Sold Out. Begin learning and search for information that will help you grow in your skills. Learn about various ways to market online and most importantly begin doing it. 

&lt;b&gt;In conclusion&lt;/b&gt;, it is your strength that will keep the network marketing monster at bay. The knowledge that you know how to attract people who are interested in your business. The knowledge that you know who you are and nothing with in or with out can shake that.

One of the articles asked this question. &lt;b&gt;Do you know anyone thats actually making Social work?&lt;/b&gt; The article goes on to say, Theres maybe one or two here The implication is that it doesnt work and should not be promoted. 

In my experience, its the larger companies that are left in the dust when it comes to change in marketing strategies. Take for instance the newspaper industry that is dying on the vine because advertising revenue is drying up along with circulation. Many of those journalists would be smart to start their own news business online. 

To answer the question, Do you know anyone thats actually making Social work? Yes. Gary Vaynerchuck, Mari Smith, Mike Klingler, @mashable on Twitter, Maria Andros on Youtube, Ann Sieg, Mike Dillard, Timothy Ferriss and more are making social marketing work.

&lt;b&gt;How is it that these people have such a great advantage?&lt;/b&gt; They are not tied to the large business mentality of placing clever ads that build business. Instead, they develop relationships with their customers and future customers by giving them relevant information based on research (knowing their customer).

After a month or two of following someone on Twitter or Facebook, you will get to know them. You will get to know how they think. You will have a sense of whether they can be trusted or not by what they have written over time.

Now is the time to take advantage of the gap between big business and us.</description>

    <description>My grandfather died in 1968 and it was a great loss to me. Thankfully my grandfather had a very close friend that stepped in and was a surrogate grandfather to my brother and myself. 

One of the first things he did was take us fishing at a local lake. The problem was that my brother and I didnt know how to fish. So we had a one day intensive training in the art of fishing. I cant remember if we caught anything that day but I do remember everything that I was taught. 

Along the way we learned different skills. I took on fly fishing and he took on ocean fishing. Filled with all of this knowledge what could I do but pass it on to my 4 children. Our vacations have created memories that will last with many more to come.

Now its time to teach the grandkids. Although Im not as fit as I was as a teenager, I have a vast amount of knowledge that can be passed on. 

Network marketing is not much different than fishing. There are skills that are necessary to be effective. One of the skills is being a good coach. Recently Ann Sieg sent out an email that focused on coaching were she said,

 Regardless of how you generate leads...

Whether you build a marketing funnel to generate your own 
leads, work a referrals list, use Google Adwords (PPC), a blog, 
a website, SEO, social media or you cold call leads (hope
not)--there comes a point where you must know how to 
effectively communicate or you limit yourself and depending 
on how little you know about effective communication, it could 
stop any level of real success from happening at all.

If you&#39;re good at marketing but bad at communicating, you 
likely make 10 of what you could with the same number of leads. 

Ouch.

Coaching skills are effective communication--they give you the
ability to lead and influence people.

Yes there are a lot of ways to generate leads. Leads are like getting nibbles when you are fishing. Nibbles may be exciting when they happen but you havent caught the fish yet.

The analogy may break down a little but hopefully you see where this is headed. 

One of the greatest college coaches is John Wooden. When he would begin coaching a new basketball player, he would start by teaching them how to tie their shoes. Because if the shoes are not tied properly it could cause foot problems in the future that could loose the game.

Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg are similar coaches and are developing coaching skills in others through Renegade Professional.

    <description>We had a parade the other day in our town and there were thousands of people who came from the surrounding areas. It was full of marching bands, old cars, animals, cowboys, fire trucks and vendors selling crafts.

I was wondering what it was that attracted such a crowd. Was it a diversion from the everyday routine? Was it a distraction from the stresses of our times? Was it just a chance to get the kids out of the house for a few hours? Was it a love of animals?

It is hard to break it down to one reason. My daughter, for example, would not miss the parade for anything. She has been going since she was 3. When asked, she said that it made her feel good and brought back warm memories of family and friends. My daughter is now 25 and hasn&#39;t missed this parade in 23 years.

In network marketing or any small business, it is vital to know what draws people to seek your product. It may be a variety of reasons. You must be the person that delivers trust, hope, and enthusiasm to meet those needs. 

In the area of trust, it was reported recently that the most trusted professions were - 3rd firemen - 2nd pharmacists and 1st Moms. Yes, being a mom is a profession and a powerful one. Moms deliver nurturing, education, protection, encouragement, unconditional love and so much more. They are not in it for the money. Their reasons are much deeper than any thing they could ever receive.

We have gone from parades to marketing to moms. 

To bring it all together, don&#39;t seek to gather a crowd. People will gather to watch a car accident. That is not what you want. 

But if you are the person that offers deep felt mom values, they will come. Offer trust, hope, enthusiasm, protection, encouragement and unconditional love. Let people know that you will be there for them no matter what. Let them know that they may fail and that is OK. Dust them off. Pick them up and help them get back on the right path. 

After all is said and done you will develop deep relationships that will last a life time. That is something that money can&#39;t buy.

This means that the book is excellent for beginners, but it will not do much for those who have already been blogging for quite some time and wish to take that last step towards financial freedom. 

In addition, this book does not go very far into specifics. Once again, you will not be told exactly how professional bloggers make their money, as they leave many of the specifics to the imagination. You will not be walked through the entire process step by step, but will rather be given a vague map to follow in order to make money. It will be up to you to figure the rest out and achieve the results that you are looking for. 

Overall, this book is great for people who have just started blogging and wish to learn how to get their blog up and running, but do not expect to find too much information on how bloggers make money or even how much they make. As with anything else, there are some closely guarded secrets in the blogging industry and this book does not offer anything groundbreaking on this topic. Because of this, the book is only really useful for beginners.</description>

This is a very similar to the strategy that was used by Guru Maria Andros, as she built up her online business. She uses online social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to get people to her Youtube account. She then gets people to subscribe to her Youtube channel, so that they will receive an email the next time that she posts a video. She always provides information in her videos, although not so much information that people will avoid purchasing her products in the future. She is also a very charismatic and beautiful woman, which probably helps her out quite a bit, but if you put together an informative enough video, you can have the same affect on people. Maria is constantly bringing new people to her Youtube channel and she has basically built up her own network using these social networking and media sites. She sends people from one site to the other, so there is no escaping the information that she is giving.</description>

    <description>It was a typical presentation meeting for a new recruit. She was very excited about the prospects of her future. She had invited three people to her first presentation and had reassured us that she had followed the invitation instructions. At the preset time, the first couple arrived. We introduced ourselves and began the presentation. Within the first 3 minutes the boyfriend began to get very antagonistic and in the next few minutes became aggressive storming out yelling all the way to the car. Needless to say that presentation was over and on a very sour note. In the debriefing, we found out that the couple had been told nothing of the purpose of the meeting but only asked to give their opinion and boy did he give his opinion! They had been ambushed and in return so had we.

The lesson to be learned by this is to find out thoroughly why someone has come to a presentation and respect their motives by answering these questions.

1. Why have you come to this meeting?

The answers can range from  I was asked to come to give my opinion. Or, Im doing my friend a favor. Or, I was asked by my friend. Or, I was bribed. Or, I was looking for a way to make some money working from home.

2. What do you wish this meeting to accomplish?

Some answers can range from  Im just curious. Or, Im looking for a product that does XYZ. Or, Im looking for something to make a few hundred dollars a month to help my husband out. Or, Im looking for something that will make me rich tomorrow.

By respecting their motives and reasons, they in return will pass that respect along to you. If someone is looking to find an XYZ product that is environmentally friendly and will be safe for her children, dont focus on the opportunity. That will show disrespect.

When you find answers to the above questions, tailor your presentation toward that focus. Granted some may be interested in products and some will be interested in the opportunity. There is nothing wrong with taking a break after talking about the product or products of interest and dismiss those people then focus on those who are interested in the opportunity.

For those who have no interest in the products or opportunity, be courteous and honest with them. Thank them for coming and respecting their friends request. Let them know that if they have any questions they can contact their host or yourself.

What is meant by nuclear potential? If you have 200 followers on Twitter, and 5 percent respond to a link you post. That is 10 people who were interested enough to click. 

Lets run the numbers 2000 followers at 5 percent equals 100 people that were interested enough to click. What about 20,000 followers? Yep, that is 1000 interested enough to click.

How soon can you see your results? You should be able to see around 80 percent of the results within 15 minutes after you send your tweet. This allows you to adapt your tweet almost instantly.

There is a free tool that is recommended that allows you to track how many people have clicked on your tweet. By using it, you will be able to see what is working and what is a dud. You want to eliminate the duds.

I&#39;ve noticed that there is a horde of people offering marketing assistance since NBC aired their story about network marketing and how people are looking to it as a second source of income. I truly can understand people&#39;s motivation but a decision like joining a network marketing company out of desperation is not a good choice. Network marketing is not a quick fix!

Regardless of the former President Clinton&#39;s endorsement of network marketing, You cannot expect to replace your lost income overnight. You can though, realistically build a second source of income over time. Learning is the road to freedom. Learn how to market your business. Learn how to use the tools available to grow your business and you will be on the road to financial freedom.

Some things to consider about joining a new business are: Not everyone will be interested in your business opportunity or your products. Depending on weekly meetings for your training can be a dead end. Do they offer marketing training or do they rely on getting people to presentation meetings?

To purposefully build your business, you  need to learn skills outside of what your company is teaching.

Endorsements by Donald Trump, President Clinton, NBC or Oprah will not grow your business. Only you can grow your business by using the tools you decide to use and learn about. Take control of your business, apply what you learn, look beyond your upline. It&#39;s your business. Grab hold of it and don&#39;t turn it over to anyone.     <description>Why do so many people quit MLMs? 

Most MLM drop outs occur because they are brought into the business with no marketing training. It is like selling someone a fighter jet and then expecting them to fly it the next day. It is not going to happen. It is the sign them up, get to their warm list and hope that they last mentality that is not working. You as an upline must offer valuable MARKETING training that is more than bringing downline to 100s of opportunity meetings.

If the focus is on providing marketing training during the qualifying process, they are already equipped. When they are ready, they will want to join you in your business and have already begun the marketing education they need.The result is a reduced drop out rate.

I have seen people recruit 1000 people only to have a 100 percent drop out rate and have to start over again. That is a hard lesson to learn. A resource that I use is Renegade University. It&#39;s purpose is to give quality internet marketing training no matter what MLM you are with. It might help to rethink the &quot;ready... shoot... aim marketing plan&quot; that has been used for the last 40 years. The internet is changing the rules whether you like it or not.
